Anatomy Teaching and CPD
With over 15 years’ experience teaching anatomy to osteopaths and medical students, I bring a deep, practical understanding of human structure to continuing professional development. Alongside my osteopathic practice, I regularly demonstrate on human cadaveric material at Brighton and Sussex Medical School (BSMS) and hold a Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education.
The quality of prosected material at BSMS is second to none, and this exceptional standard is one of the main reasons I’m proud to teach within their anatomy facilities. The environment supports a level of anatomical exploration and precision that few institutions can match.
I offer bespoke anatomy teaching and demonstration services for practitioners, educators, and course providers looking to enhance their programmes with high-quality, hands-on anatomical learning. Sessions can include:
- Human Cadaveric prosection demonstrations
- Dissection of relevant animal material
- Ultrasound imaging of living human models
Each session is designed to complement and deepen understanding of structure and function.
Teaching can be tailored to specific areas of interest – such as the pelvic viscera, laryngeal apparatus, or other regions of clinical relevance – and is based at BSMS in Brighton. I can organise all aspects of the teaching experience, from facility hire to specimen and model preparation, allowing course leaders to seamlessly integrate anatomy into their wider educational offering.
All my prosection and CPD courses take place in Brighton – a vibrant, well-connected city on England’s south coast. Brighton and Sussex Medical School (BSMS) is located on the outskirts of the city, with excellent transport links including a nearby train station, regular bus services, good road connections, and on-site parking. The campus is within easy reach of London and Gatwick Airport, making it convenient for participants travelling from across the UK and abroad. Alongside its accessibility, Brighton offers a welcoming atmosphere and a lively cultural scene, providing an inspiring setting for professional learning and collaboration.
I am also happy to travel to other institutions to deliver anatomy demonstrations, provided that those facilities are open to external demonstrators.
In addition, I offer small-group and one-to-one teaching, including tutorials and focused sessions for individuals or teams who wish to explore specific anatomical topics in greater depth.
